About Our Rowing Program

The rowing Program is designed to connect individuals and groups with a shared passion for competitive rowing, from first-time participants to seasoned athletes. It is a dynamic platform that offers skill-building opportunities, training resources, and community engagement to foster growth at every stage of a rower’s journey. Through partnerships with local row clubs, the United Swim School Association, and national organizations like USA rowing, Safe Kids Worldwide, Jack and Jill of America, the American Red Cross, and the National Water Safety Action Plan, the program promotes both “learn to row” initiatives and competitive development. Events and outreach activities focus on accessibility, water safety, and encouraging lifelong participation in rowing. With a strong emphasis on sportsmanship, equity, and personal achievement, the program builds a supportive, inclusive community dedicated to helping every rower reach their full potential.

The council nurtures athletic and instructional talent through technique workshops, youth and adult swim programs, and coaching development clinics.

Regular regattas, community events, and outreach initiatives offer opportunities to engage with families, schools, and fellow rowers while promoting water safety and sportsmanship. Mentorship opportunities further support new coaches, while partnerships with organizations such as USA Rowing and local rowing clubs help expand reach and provide scholarships.
