Lifeguard Training:
Skills That Save Lives
Our Lifeguard Training program is built to prepare individuals to respond confidently and effectively in emergency situations across a range of aquatic environments—including pools, beaches, and water parks. The program focuses on developing essential, hands-on lifesaving skills that can make all the difference when every second counts.
Participants will learn water rescue techniques, CPR and AED use, first aid, surveillance strategies, and risk prevention. Training sessions are immersive and practical, simulating real-life scenarios to ensure trainees are ready for the challenges of lifeguarding in both calm and high-stress situations. Special attention is given to decision-making, communication, teamwork, and situational awareness—key components of strong lifeguard response.
This certification goes beyond just swimming ability; it instills a sense of responsibility, leadership, and readiness to protect lives. Whether working at a neighborhood pool, coastal beach, or high-traffic water park, certified lifeguards emerge from our program equipped with the knowledge and skills to ensure safety and respond with confidence in any aquatic setting.
Become a Water Safety Instructor
The Water Safety Instructor (WSI) program, certified through the American Red Cross, is designed for individuals passionate about teaching swimming and promoting water safety in their communities. This nationally recognized certification prepares participants to teach people of all ages and skill levels how to swim and stay safe around water.
The comprehensive curriculum includes instruction in stroke development, water safety education, lesson planning, communication techniques, and the effective use of instructional aids. Trainees gain the tools to create engaging, inclusive lessons tailored to diverse learners while managing class dynamics in a safe and supportive environment. They also learn how to assess student progress and adapt instruction as needed.
By becoming a Red Cross–certified WSI, instructors make a direct impact on community well-being. Whether teaching beginners or refining the skills of more advanced swimmers, WSI-certified professionals help build confidence, reduce drowning risks, and foster a culture of lifelong water safety and enjoyment.
