Wellness
At Diversity in Aquatics, our journeys extend beyond borders, blending adventure, education, and community impact. From Grenada to South Florida, our initiatives—including the Bluemindfulness experience—connect people to the restorative power of water while advancing safety and wellness. In California, Houston, and Indianapolis, we partner with local leaders to strengthen aquatics access, promote water competency, and build inclusive spaces where diverse communities thrive. Each destination reflects our commitment to fostering belonging, improving health outcomes, and reducing drowning disparities. These journeys are more than trips—they are purposeful opportunities to transform lives through the healing, unifying, and empowering force of aquatics.
Adaptive Aquatics - Camp Abilities: A camp for athletes with disabilities focused on inclusive activities and training. Working with local universities and adaptive sports organizations, it provides a platform, raises awareness, and fosters community support.
Adult Learn to Swim (Lauderdale Lakes, Florida)- The DIA Swim Club is in partnership with Diversity in Aquatics and the Swims Foundation and is a club member of the U.S. Masters Swimming. We believe that a healthy relationship with the water can promote health, well-being and a Blue-Mindfulness(â„¢) state of being in adults. In a stressful world, water offers an opportunity to soothe, connect, and restore, promoting resilience and access to a more peaceful state. Learn to swim, find relaxation, experience joy, and wellness as you improve your swimming skills, achieve your fitness goals, and connect with the water and our community who share your passion for aquatic activities. In Grenada, our work highlights the island’s deep connection to the sea while addressing urgent needs in water safety and access. Through partnerships with local communities, we provide swim education, drowning prevention initiatives, and wellness-centered aquatic programs. By blending cultural heritage with modern training, our efforts empower individuals of all ages to build confidence, improve health, and embrace the ocean as a resource for joy, safety, and social impact.
